IN THE BACKSEAT

The kids were sparring in the back of the Odyssey as we drove to Bethesda to pick up some furniture.

"Poppycock!" said Lana.
"Balderdash!" said Sebastian.
"Poppydash!" rejoined Lana.
"Baldercock!" rejoined Sebastian.

I did everything I could to keep my grin from erupting into gale-force laughter...
